Introduction

     This is the story of a young woman who was severely afflicted in mind and soul, and how she found healing and redemption in a manner that seems miraculous by “normal” standards. It’s Part III of a novel titled Pull the Plug, but can be read and enjoyed as a novelette in its own right. All you need is a bit of background information on the group featured in the story, the Kin of Aries. It was founded on the basis of the great planetary alignment in May 2000, which the kindred believe spawned a new White Avatar, born in the sign of the Ram. This is described in dramatic detail in Part I, and references to it in Mad Minerva are supplemented with links.
